Pop, The Astronaut - Pop, the old janitor, tries on an astronaut suit and mistakenly is off to the moon. The other astronauts discover this too late. He loses a screw and throws the other two into a tizzy. He walks on the moon but is left behind when he stops to straighten the American flag that has fallen over.

1: Monologue, jokes about shopping and prices. Gertrude and Heathcliffe Zelda joke.

2: Pantomime, The Butcher Shop.

3: Musical bit, Red starts a running gag with musical guests, trying to play his autoharp.

4: Silent Spot, "The Silent Movie Cop". Red and his dumb helper do an old silent movie chase trying to catch a bandit. The bandit is in cahoots with a Salvation Army lass. They run the gamut of farce situations with the bandit escaping.

Guest Stars: Walter Brennan; The Lettermen (sing Shangri-La and Hurt So Bad)

A Happening That Happened In Texas -  Sheriff Deadeye and Sheriff Walter are both in love with the Widow Ava Dupos. There is not room in Poison Gulch for the both of them, so, unbeknownst to each other, they both hire Two Gun Luke to kill the other. They play a game of poker for the widow. Walter wins. Two Gun Luke arrives, ducks, and they kill each other. He has been in cahoots with the widow all this time.

1: Monologue, jokes about the beach and bathing suits.

2: Pantomime, Man In A Shooting Gallery.

3: Musical bit, Red introduces The Lettermen and does an after bit with them.

4: Silent Spot, The Safari. Red is in the jungle with his book on how to survive. A gorilla heckles him, gets his gun away, chases him off, then opens a case filled with guns he has taken from previous hunters.
